The story of Coleman Grey is a famous one in Cornwall. A farmer finds a young fairy, takes him home and cares for him for many months before finally fleeing. The story was associated with Polperro by the Couch family. However, where did it take place in Polperro? In one little read note Jonathan Couch names the farmhouse of Langreek (aka Landgreek) as the home in question: though he also admitted that there conflicting traditions. Coleman Grey remained with the family for some months before being called away to his family.
